All Species are Special at the Anacostia River BioBlitz!
The final results are in from our 5th Annual BioBlitz! Thank you to everyone who was able to participate! With each of these events we are expanding our knowledge of what species live here and how abundant each may be, which enables us to be better stewards to the environment.
One place you can see wildlife data and its impact is with DC's recent Cat Census to see the role cats have in our local environment.

Just announced: If you haven't taken a trip on the Anacostia River, this Sunday is your chance! Leaving from Bladensburg Waterfront Park at 10am, you and your family can enjoy a fall tour of the river.
