Meeting Location: Colmar Manor Community Park, Colmar Manor Maryland, near the DC/MD line. From Bladensburg Road in Colmar Manor, turn south onto 37th Ave., between the IHOP and the Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. Take your first right into the park and follow the road until you are able to make a right turn towards the baseball fields. Once you turn right, you will turn left into the parking lot by the baseball fields. Coordinates: 38°55'46.4"N 76°56'40.3"W (click for map link)
Description: Since 2017, the Anacostia Watershed Society has planted trees in areas along Dueling Creek and the Anacostia River that were heavily affected by the emerald ash borer beetle invasion. Join us as we visit the planting sites at Colmar Manor Community Park. Rubber boots highly recommended!
Physical Level of Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult

1. COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements:
The Anacostia Watershed Society requires that all participants who are eligible for the COVID-19 Vaccine be fully vaccinated per the CDC guidelines and attest to being fully vaccinated in order to participate in any of our events. AWS also highly recommends that all participants be up-to-date on booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine when eligible. Please see additional requirements listed in the below sections.
