Paddle Night at Bladensburg Waterfront Park

Come to the River!

This event is part of our summer series giving you the opportunity to explore your Anacostia River. Please read all of the following information closely before registering.

Come discover your Anacostia River by joining AWS for a paddle night at the Bladensburg Waterfront Park, a beautiful park situated near the original historical port of Bladensburg. Just south of the confluence of the North East and North West Branches of the Anacostia River, from this site you can explore the most suburban launch point of the river. There is a covered pavilion, picnic benches, and playgrounds, so it's an ideal location for a summer evening with your family and friends. 

Please note this event is first-come first-served, so come early for a better chance of getting out on the water!

There are a limited number of spaces of this trip and registration is required. You must complete a registration for every person who plans to attend, including children or family members. If you find out that you cannot attend the event you registered for,  please let us know ASAP so other community members can attend.

Groups of 15 or more are encouraged to contact us directly about setting up a tour.
