Description: You will learn about the history of the Anacostia River, the threats to its health, and the progress towards its restoration during a boat tour led by our Senior Environmental Educator, Maddie Koenig.
What to Wear/Bring: Participants should dress appropriately for the weather on the day of the event. We recommend wearing a hat and bringing a refillable water bottle. We discourage the consumption of bottled water. You are welcome to bring snacks aboard the boat, but please be advised there is not a restroom facility available though there is one located at the park that you can use before launch.
