Join the Anacostia Watershed Society for a boat tour on the Anacostia River to explore the ecological and historical changes that have occurred in the river and in the communities around the river. We will have the opportunity to witness some of the restoration of river habitats and how it has caused the rebound of the wildlife in the Anacostia River.
Meeting Location: We will gather at the boat ramp at Bladensburg Waterfront Park at 4601 Annapolis Rd, Bladensburg, MD 20710. The park is accessible via Bike Trail (Anacostia Tributary Trail System: Anacostia River Trail). Limited parking is available.
What to Wear/Bring: We recommend wearing sunscreen and a hat and bringing water.
Note:
If you have any questions prior to the event, please contact Emily Castelli at ecastelli2@anacostiaws.org. We look forward to hosting you on our favorite river!
