Location: Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens (KAG): 1550 Anacostia Avenue NE, Washington, DC 20019 (map) - we will walk from the entrance of KAG to Kenilworth Lake, which is about a mile away, so please wear shoes you are comfortable walking in!

• The Deanwood Metro Station is about 0.5 miles away from this location (about an 11 minute walk)
• Parking is available at this location

Description:  Join the Anacostia Watershed Society and our partners, for our 8th Anacostia River Bioblitz at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, for a day of observing and learning about nature together! This is a great opportunity to learn about the identification and ecology of some of the river's fascinating species from the experts.

There will be nature exhibits and fun activities for the whole family including nature walks and pond critter sampling:

-Plants: by Bradley Simpson, Nature Forward.
-Bugwalk: by Deborah Barber, The Nature Conservancy.
-Naturalist walk: by naturalist-extraordinaire Jenny Glenn.
-Bird watching: by Lynette Fullerton, PG County Audubon Society.
