We identified 24 vernal pools and completed 44 surveys, protecting key salamander habitat.
With partners, we launched real-time water quality monitoring along the tidal Anacostia River.
We began non-tidal stream surveys across the regions, discovering new freshwater sponge species.
Our Education team launched the new Watershed Explorers Field Trips, giving more students hands-on experiences.
We expanded our storytelling and community engagement through an environmental justice arts panel.
